For the remodel of this cottage-style Lafayette home, Roberts Electric Co. worked with a design-build firm that specializes in green building. RECO, with a Green Building Professional on staff, worked with the design team to create lighting solutions that harmonize with the home’s new look while providing optimum efficiency and energy savings. Indirect fluorescent lighting, an ideal choice for people looking to add green design elements to their homes, is installed above some of the cabinetry in the bright and airy kitchen, subtly enhancing the abundant natural light inherent in the new design.
