University of California Memorial Stadium Scoreboard | Berkeley
Northern California's largest football stadium in terms of seating capacity, Memorial Stadium opened in 1923 and currently seats over 71,000 fans. Several years ago, RECO worked on the upgrade of the stadium’s scoreboard, working with UC staff and the prime contractor to complete installation before football season began. We handled the distribution power and communication systems, including fiber optic from the press box to the updated scoreboard.
RECO Owner and President Dan Pitcock is a UC Berkeley alumnus (recommended on the UC Berkeley Referral website for faculty and staff) so this project was a special one for RECO.
