Noodle Factory | Oakland

This mixed-use artisan and cultural arts facility houses 11 work/live units for artists and small business owners, a rehearsal studio, a 2700 sq. ft. public events space for performance arts, and a cafe/lobby area. A project of The Northern California Land Trust (NCLT), a community-based not-for-profit committed to making homes and community facilities permanently affordable, the Noodle Factory was featured in Oakland Magazine's Best of 2009 issue.

RECO handled a variety of areas for this extensive project, including lighting for the Noodle Factory theater, an industrial distribution system to serve the mixed use space, and systems for the solar powered live/work lofts, the elevator, and specialty call stations. The Noodle Factory was a green remodel using LEED guidelines.
